Heart and Sole has grown to be the largest 5K, Half-Marathon Marathon and Corporate Run/Walk in Northeast Arkansas. This year we had over 700 participants from 16 states and British Columbia. It takes over 200 volunteers to implement and work this event each year. Heart & Sole is one of our largest fundraisers but also is a great educational avenue to promote walking and running as a simple physical fitness activity to improve health and to promote the awareness of sudden cardiac death. This event helps fund the AED Placement Program and to date we have placed 100 AEDs throughout Northeast Arkansas.
